On 10th. March 2004, a new cyber baby was born: CWG
South Africa. We started with the grand total of 4 members. As an e-mail discussion group,
we share our writing joys and our frustrations, our acceptances and our rejections, ask questions
and share opinions. We set goals and report back how we've done.
In October we held our first all-day writing seminar in Cape Town, with Mary Lou Redding from The
Upper Room (Tennessee) as our speaker.
Between Christmas and New Year, the Capetonians got together for an end-of-year meal.
It has been exciting seeing people growing in their writing and submitting where they haven't
before. A couple of brand new writers have had articles accepted for publication, and several books
have been published.
Here is a collage of some of our first members.
If you are one of those fortunate people who live in the beautiful land of South
Africa, and if you are a Christian writer or even a "wannabe" writer,
we'd love you to consider joining us. This group is also open to South Africans living
abroad.
This CWG logo
will take you to our Home Page where you can learn more.
