Rise and Soar:
Cancer Information Sites
"You have cancer". Nothing prepares you for those words.
As a nursing sister, I had often stood beside patients when they heard them.
As a minister's wife, I often came alongside members of our congregation after they had received this diagnosis. I prayed with them, encouraged them, and walked with them through dark days.
Then in 1997, I heard those words again. But this time they were addressed to me.
Suddenly, I realized how little I knew about the fight against this disease. I committed myself to learning more, and doing all I could to conquer this enemy to my health and my ministry.
One of the greatest weapons in the fight against cancer is knowledge. Visit these cancer-related web sites to find loads of useful information.
